Пред ней задумчиво стою;
Свести очей с нее нет силы;

THOU AND YOU
That empty you by hearty thou
Unwittingly she substituted,
And all the happy dreams somehow
Into the amorous soul enrooted.
I stay and gaze at her; I'm so
Enchanted by the precious present;
I say to her: “you are so pleasant!”
And mutely think: “I love thee so!”
I love this poem by Pushkin... The translation is from a dear friend, great scientist, and a lovable person, Yuri.
